Christmas 2000

The Christmas Season 2000 was as merry as ever. We were graced by the presence of snow and fine clear sunny days between Christmas and New Year, which certainly added some peace and tranquility to the whole occasion.

Everyone was home, and there was many's the late night with loads of Craic (fun) - but those photos are better not published!

For the rest of the civilized world, it's important to note that - when it snows in Ireland everything simply draws to a standstill, as it could snow for 1 week per year - so having an army of snow ploughs on standby would be a bit costly!

On the farm, things get busier with snow, as animals out on the land suddenly need more fodder than usual - but the farmer is prepared for all weathers.
